My boyfriend and I would like to try lubricants because I get tiny abdominal soreness every once in a while because it is very dry down there :p We plan to have children later after marriage and so forth, but we hear that lubricants like KY (which we are interested in) can cause infertility. Is that JUST if you were trying to conceive or is it ok to use until we are ready to try for conceiving in a few years? Sorry if that sound like i’m stupid, I’m just so confused!

Lubricants do not cause infertility.

That story about KY sounds like a wacked out rumor. Personal lubricants like KY are very mild and very safe. There are lots of things that cause infertility–diseases, hormonal imbalances, etc–but KY is not one of them.
