Uterine fibroid. Very common, usually harmless until the get too big. I have had one for over 6 years, and I’m doing just fine.

I think you might be referring to endometriosis. This is a condition where the endometrium or lining of the uterus, begins to grow on other organs, such as the bowels, bladder, and the outside of the uterus.
