I went to the doctor today with my husband, we’ve ben trying for 1 year, 1 month and got the results of our tests, my husbands sperm count is 200 with 50% motility, which seems to be ok, and they’re not sure whether I am ovulating, I had progesterone level of 10, but they arranged the test a bit early in m ycycle, so I have to go for a later one. I already knew I had PCOS, so she has put in a referral for us to go the the specialist, on the NHS. I’m pleased as I asked specifically to see a different doctor, and she seemed on the ball and very helpful, the complete opposite to the other doctor we were seeing- who actually couldn’t say the word ‘sex’ in front of me!!!!!! , but I would really like a bit of a clue as to what the fertility doctor might do, ask, talk about etc. Please would love any advice, tips or whatever…
Thank you
well, I’ve got all my dates since we started trying, so I’ll remember to take them!

it might be helpful to go to fertility obg dr they will monitor you ask u to go there on particular day to do sano and they might give you medications for better egg groving clomid. they usually start with the lovest dosage and little thinks to see how your body is responding then if you dont they increace the medication dosage and give you special treatment .
good luck to you lots of baby dust.

Here’s what they did for me:
transvag ultrasound
blood drawn
medical history taken for me and husband
appt set for husband to do semen analysis
Make sure you know when your last three cycles started- or more, if possible. They could tell from the US that I was not ovulating at all. At that appointment my doctor also set a schedule of drugs and tests that we would try each month.
Good luck!
