Not to mention, if all else fails, there’s always the morning after pill ! The one released recently, Ella is supposed to be effective for up to 3 days after conception, but I haven’t really heard anything about how effective it is.

Relax!!! You’ve only been off the pill for 2 weeks and it can take awhile for your body to adjust back to it’s regular schedule. (You may even be late the first time because your hormones are adjusting).

Most people I know who were on the pill had no problems after being off of it..including myself.

Remember, stress can also delay your cycle….so try to relax about this… :)

It shouldn’t affect your fertility in the slightest. I’ve been taking it for over 6 years and my friends who have been on it taht long too have had babies after coming off of it. The advice in my pills says that after u have come off the pill use another method of contraception until u have a natural period then start trying. These things take time don’t worry yourself.

Don’t worry. The netdoctor http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/ate/birthcontrolandcontraception/202990.html says "There is no evidence that taking a combined pill for any length of time, with or without breaks, affects fertility in any way." I would suggest that you wait a month or so, for your cycle to get back to normal, but other than that there is no reason why your fertility should be affected in the long term.

Just because you were on the pill doesn’t mean you cant have kids… I was having fertility issues, I lost a baby in Oct of 2006 and then didn’t have a period for like 3 months. They put me on YAZ to help with the period issues and get my hormones back in check, was on it for 6 months didn’t take it for 3 after that and then saw a fertility specialist and got pregnant with only 2 rounds of clomid… If anything it helped to regulate me… Good luck and talk to your Dr.

The more you think about it, the more it will be difficult to conceive. Relax and forget that you event took the pill. Lead a normal life without any stress or anxiety, even go on vacation if possible and very soon you’ll have good news.

I was on the combined pill for 12 yrs. I finally came off it after my partner and i decided we wanted to start a family. Both being in our 30′s now. I was only off my pill for 6 months and fell pregnant with my little girl who is now 6 months old. Currently trying for baby #2. Good luck and keep trying. It’ll happen soon.

I’ve was on it for 12 years – it hasn’t affected mine so try not to worry. It will however take a while to full leave your system so if you are trying to get pregnant – don’t panic if it doesn’t happen immediately.

Well ill tell you this i was on the pill for two years and as soon as i got oof of it I became pregnant almost instanly i think. He looked in the wrong direction and I was pregnant :) worry will not help you any in fact it may lessen your chances of having or possibly keeping a pregnancy if you let it get you too stressed. Pray and God will take care of it for ya
