Need advice and help on getting pregnant please.?

I am 27 year old female who had two kids with my x-husband. My current husband and I are tyring to get pregnant for over a year now, he just got tested and he range within the moderate mode for fertility (17). The doctor said that we should be able to get pregnant with a moderate fertility sperm count, however it does not seem to be working and I am just feeling sad each time, does anyone have any suggestions or advice on what we can do to better our chances? please help.
I had pap smear and blood test not too long before he got tested. My doctor said I was normal. Are there more test or other test that I should get done?
Both my husband and I rarely drink and we don’t smoke.

Well I have learned that you should not use many of the lubricants that are out there, such as K-Y, it’s not a favorable environment for the little swimmers. Also try elevating your pelvis for 15 to 20 min after sexual intercourse. You might also want to try using Ovulation predictor kits so that you can better your chances by knowing when you ovulate. You can also tell ovulation by your cervical mucus. During ovulation it should resemble egg whites. When you know you will be ovulating I would "Baby dance every other day to assure best sperm counts.

I tell you love (from experience), the best way to get pregnant is to just stop trying! The problem with TRYING to get pregs is all the disappointment. all you ever think about is not being pregs, counting the days, weeks, months, putting yourself through endless pregnancy test only to be disappointed over and over. I know someone who left it to nature for six years before they actually fell preg, when you think of that a year isn’t very long. ! If you keep it up you’ll exhaust yourself. put the test down, have regular good nookie, try hard to relax and to put being pregs to the back of your mind and concentrate on the lovin instead! About the only thing you should be doing to do with pregnancy at all is eating a healthy diet and maybe taking some form of folic acid supplement. When your pregnant your pregnant, just let nature take its course. in the meantime enjoy your man as often as possible1 GOOD LUCK, TAKE CARE

Look into seeing a fertility specialist. Sometimes insurance covers the basic testing and diagnostic procedures they provide.

    The ovulation calendar may help

Once you have done the deed – tell him to go and make you a nice brew and you lie on your back with your bum and legs in the air and just let those babies make their way.

Have you tried the temperature things you can buy in chemists which tell you when you are the most fertile? The usuals are no alcohol, loose undies for him etc.

Have you had any tests done? I know that you have had children, but things could have changed since you had them, it would be worth you getting some blood tests to check your hormone levels, make sure you are ovulating etc.
Aside from that, make sure you have sex regularly around your ovulation time, make sure neither of you is drinking/smoking. Eat healthily, make sure his parts don’t get too warm. And don’t worry, stress is the worst thing for getting pregnant.
