Total rank BS. I don’t believe any antidepressant has ever demonstrated the ability to damage DNA either in culture or in any live animal studies, or human studies.

Likewise, infertility? Not at all. Not even in animals given many times the human dosages. As the other poster mentioned, they can cause anorgasmia, or disrupt sexual functioning while you’re taking them. There’s a variety of ways to deal with that including dosage changing, alternative meds, or just ceasing medications.

Nope. Well, they can cause anorgasmia, so I guess without ejaculation there would be some infertility on the man’s side, but the sperm are fine. No effects on fertility in woman, and none on the genes.

Bullsh*it. Some people out there are really anti psychiatry and make up stuff to scare people from the field. No clinical trial or any other experimental study would confirm this. The FDA ranks antidepressants in pregnancy category B, which means use with caution but testing showed that there was no infertility or genetic changes in mice or humans.
