insemination was done on 27th april period was due 9/5/09 however still not here have had all the period signs except for bleeding, the hospital have done 2 pregnancy tests both negative but they took blood to check what was going on with my hormones and told may due to the level of my hormones it would indicate that i either am pregnant or the pregnancy is ending which is why i asked my Original question ‘would the pregnancy test show negative if it was a miscarriage’. Any advice welcome im going slightly nuts!!!!

I really feel for you going through all this.
The pregnancy tests could show negative whether you are still pregnant or if it is ending. They can only detect a certain level of hormones and if it’s too low they will keep showing negative.
In a normal pregnancy the hormones will increase every day so if you have negative tests to start with, sooner or later they will turn positive. Normally after a week from your missed period at the latest.
Looking on the positive side though, even if this pregnancy is ending, it shows you are concieving which is more than some women can achieve and if you try again you still have a good chance of having a baby.
I hope you don’t have to wait long.
