ok so me and my husband have been trying to conceive for a year now with no luck, i went to my GP today for some advice and she is starting fertility investigations, i have too go back for a blood test on tuesday for a blood test to check if i am ovulating. will my doctor ask me to come in for the results? if it comes back saying i am not ovulating, does that mean i am infertile? if so what happens next? please answer i am really confused.

No, that doesnt mean you are infertile. There could be numerouse things that are preventing you. They have meds that make you ovulate. You need to have your husband drop off a sample of his sperm to a clinic, thats always the first step.

my partner and i have been trying for 20 months with no luck. like you we went to our doctors for advice. i also had a blood test to check ovulation ( i was) my partner had to give two semen samples. originally they thought the problem was with my partner so he was seen by a urologist but he was discharged so now its my turn! im under a fertility specialist, i have other blood tests to check hormone levels which came back ok. they dont really seem to know whats the matter so have put me on clomid (a fertility drug) for 3 months to see if this gives us the bust wee need! good luck x
