Is there any chance of getting pregnant, as m diagnosed by uterine fibroid.?

I got fibroid in uterus that measures 3.5cm. Luckly don’t have any other problem i.e infertility etc. I conceived once, that was last year, but unfortunately miscarried.
Can i still conceive? with such a big fibroid that has taken almost all the space in my uterus.
I am already 34 and dying for baby. we are trying since last 3years. Can’t express in words, how i feel. world seems to an end for me.
Is there anybody who has any experience or any informaion about this.

i’m 23, non smoker, low blood pressure, 155cm and 49kg, had same boyfriend during 3 years…

i want a method of contraception mroe reliable than condoms (tgough we’ll maybe carry on using condoms as well as whatever method i choose, just in case) …however i don’t really want anything which messes with my hormones – the pill for example.

i know the pill is used by millions of women but i really don’t want.

the copper coil and diaphragm seem to be the only 2 contraceptives (as well as the condoms) which fit this description. diaphragm REALLY doesn’t appeal…and so i’m thinking of getting the copper coil put in…what are the side effects? i’ve heard it can lead to infertility? i’ve never had any children/abortions but would like to in next 5-10 years…

we live in a private rented property and we think it has toxic black mould what action can we take?

we live in a 1 bed private flat, in every room there is a case of thick black mould and me and my partner have the symptoms of toxic mould. my partner is currently 28 weeks pregnant and has not been well for the last 9 weeks of her pregnancy

* Uneasiness in respiration
* Headaches
* Cough
* Red eyes
* Development of rashes and hives on skin
* Nausea
* Memory loss
* In some cases, people experience bleeding in lungs
* Lethargy
* Dizziness
* Lack in concentration
* Problem caused due to irritation in mucous membranes
* Asthma
* Allergic reactions (such as itching of nose, runny nose etc.) of respiratory and/or nervous system etc
* Irregularity in blood pressure
* Damaged digestion and respiratory system
* Infections of urinary track, problems in urination etc.
* Pain in liver and other internal organs
* High level or prolonged exposure to mold can lead to infertility in the patient
we have most of these symptoms and letters from doctors and midwife and the mp
to say the mould is making us ill.
who can we go to to take this matter further??

Implantatin spotting, what was yours like?

Hey ladies

Hope everyone is well.

I know its not that common, but both my mum and sister had it but wanted to find out your experiences with implantation spotting.

I have been ttc for over 2yrs, done 6mths of Clomid, 2 mth break as possibly had a m/c (being investigated), and that mth, 10dpo, i had light pink when i wiped, just once (sorry tmi).

Im back on Clomid after couple of mths off (as advised by sepcialist) and i know i ov’d as had POS opk, i am 9dpo, yesterday, i thought i noticed very faint light brown when i wiped, but wasnt convinced, then last night after the gym i noticed tiny bit again on panty liner, then nothing, then just now, i wiped and there it was again, light brown, kind of creamy (again, sorry tmi), i have been having niggling tugging pinching pains since about 5dpo also, my boobs are huge and very sore, as are my nipples! Which i do get before AF, but not due til Tue’sday and they’ve been sore for about 4days now…so obvioulsy im hoping its implantation spotting and cramping…!

For those that had it, what was yours like??

Fingers crosssed, if not im back to specialist this mth to discuss IUI and get prepared for injections, in a dream world, that wouldnt have to happen (with have unexplained infertility!)

How do I know if I have endometriosis?

I had my first period when I was 13, I am now 20 and I have never really had a proper cycle of periods – I have been to see my GP about it numerous times, but they told me that I was still in puberty and my period hadn’t regulated, that I was stressed with A -Levels/ Uni etc.

Basically, I had never heard of enomtriosis until I mentioned to my mum that I was starting on Contraceptive pills for the first time (a few months ago) and I had been bleeding while on them – She told me to be careful because she obviously knew about my erratic periods and told me she had had a lot of problems with her periods when she was younger and suffered from it and she told me that she knew it could be hereditary.

I have done a bit of research into it, but I have no idea how to make sure I don’t have it, and I’d rather not go through the embarrassment of a gyno visit if I can prevent it..

Basically, I had my first period when I was 13, and didn’t get another one until I was 15. Since then I’ve had a few periods and they’re never the same – some are a lot heavier than others, some are very light. It’s common for me to get spotting in between periods.

I rarely have two periods within a month of each other – I have attempted to keep a record of my cycle but it’s just too eratic. I can go for months without one, then months with them. I am at uni now but I don’t feel stressed and I eat healthily and balanced and exercise well, so any theories about stress I don’t feel have a basis anymore – Stress isn’t what’s preventing me having a period!

The amount of pain I get changes a lot too – sometimes I get barely any cramping, at the worst time in my memory I felt stabbing pains and could barely walk – I lay on the sofa with paracetamol and a hot water bottle and could barely move! luckily this doesn’t happen often, but I sometimes feel cramps with no sign of a period.

Most recently, I had a bizarre illness around the time I should have had a period – I had a fever and felt constantly nauseous (But didn’t throw up at all) and had diarrhoea for about a week. I had bad abdominal pain too, near my tummy and lower back. I went to the doctor but they lost my urine sample (!!!) and I was told it was probably a virus (I wasn’t really satisfied with this, I felt she was sweeping it under the general virus infection rug)

Also, I have always seemed to suffer from fatigue – I get tired very easily, despite eating all the right foods (such as natural sugars, like bananas and slow release carbs like sweet potato.)

My mum has said she mostly experienced severe period pain and that she was put on the pill, but she doesn’t seem to recall her symptoms because it was a while ago.

I’m aware that I could go on the pill and if I had enometriosis that would pretty much clear up the symptoms, but I’m concerned if it affects my infertility, especially if the pills make it worse – I tried to go on the mini-pill and it caused me constant bleeding for at least 4 weeks, and my friends on the pill tell me this can happen as it takes a while for the body to adjust to the hormones.

Can anyone offer me advice? Should my periods worry me? I should really be out of puberty now and they have shown no signs of regulating! I feel I should mention I am a healthy size 10, I have a balanced diet and I would walk, swim and excercise on the gymn, roughly at least 3 times a week for 30 mins minimum.

I’d love to hear from anyone who suffers from it too!
