My partner is 29 and we already know he has fertility issues, a really low chance, the docs have told him between and 0 and 4 % chance of conceiving. I am 22 so I know i still have time but because of knowing it could take forever would you start trying earlier, even if the time right now wasnt perfect, ie i have an exam next year for work?
i dont want to make TTC really intense and I want us to still have fun considering we know the chances are so low.
Please I need some advice

Does anyone have any advice they can offer?
My hubby has just had a Sperm analysis done for fertility testing and the results came back as really low count and poor motility. We already have a little boy (conceived naturally) and so aren’t really happy about being told "your only option for another baby is IVF with ICSI" (way too expensive and invasive).
Hubby had an undescended testicle operated on as a child and he often complains of an "aching" feeling in his testicles. I have asked him to go to the Drs and he won’t (to embarrassed – you know boys and their bits lol!). He also has trouble ejaculating sometimes when we have sex.
Do you think these could be symptomatic of a varicocele or other serious problem (even – god forbid – testicular cancer?) and could this be causing his fertility problems? The Fertility clinic haven’t suggested referring him to a urologist for further testing, I think they just want us to pay £5,000 for a cycle of IVF with ICSI . . .

Hiya ladies,
i was wondering if you could give me a little bit of advice from your experiences,
I am 22 and my partner is 43, i have recently stopped taking the mercilon contraceptive pill as i was having constant headaches, we have decided to let nature take course rather than using another form of contraception.
i was wondering if any of you could tell me roughly how long it takes for fertility to right it’s self, i was only on the pill for about 7 months, previous to that i had the mirena coil. and roughly how long it takes to conceive?
i had a miscarriage when i was 17, this won’t effect me now will it?
thank you very much for reading this and it would be great if your could answer. xx

My wife and I had IUI treatment a couple of weeks ago. We have found out we are pregnant and were told by the fertility clinic to come in for a scan at 6 1/2 weeks, hopefully to hear a heartbeat.
I know that normally my wife would be entitled to paid time off work for antenatal appointments but would this scan be included as it’s not the antenatal department?
We have a letter of proof although it just says fertility follow up scan.
My wife is worried she won’t be able to get the time off (either paid or unpaid) is this right??
Thank you for any advice!!

I use fertility friend to chart my BBT. I always get temps around 36.5 celsius up until the cross hairs, then about 36.75 after the cross hairs.
The last couple of months my post ov temps have been lower, around 36.6.
I’m having tests, gynochologist thinks maybe PCOS.
My question is, just because my temperatures rise at between 18dpo – 24 dpo and stay high until AF visits next (because believe me, she always does), does that mean I definitely ovulated or could it be possible that I didn’t ovulate?
Never conceived before, don’t understand why!
Advice please??? x

My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 19 months after me coming off the Depo injection with no success (I have had my periods back for 13 months). I am looking for advice in the following areas:
- Is it too soon to go to the doctors to start having fertility tests?
- How come with my last period I threw up on the morning it arrived and had felt exhausted for about a week before?
- How can I stop myself feeling so truly devastated & broken hearted every time I get another period?
Any advice would be really appreciated as I am struggling to know what to do. Thank for your replies xxxxx
